This article will detail how to configure a Windows Mobile 6.0 device for Exchange 2010.

Configuration Steps




1. From the home screen on the phone click Start, and from the resultant menu click Programs


2. Select ActiveSync 


3. Tap the text set up your device to sync with it.


4. For the server address enter:

ex2010.myhostedservice.com

Check the box This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection, and click Next.


5. Enter the following information in the given fields:

  1. User name: The primary email address of the user account
  2. Password: The associated password
  3. Domain: netplexity

Check the box Save Password, then tap Advanced.


6. Under the category If there is a conflict, select the option Replace the item on my device. Then tap Next.


7. Specify the item types to sync and click Finish.


8. The device will begin to start syncing with the exchange server.
