Applicable To

The article applies to all customers with active web services.

Prerequisites

Active SQL & Web services, see Add Hosted Services.

Summary

This article will discuss the limitations of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio in a hosted environment.

Configuration Steps

Direct access to the SQL server from the SQL Management Studio is not allowed to protect client servers from DDOS, script kiddies, and viruses. Instead a web-based alternative is used to access the database. Please refer to the article, Connect To A SQL Database for instructions on how to access it.
